About

Well hello there! My name is Jack Cartlidge. Welcome to northerncourseangler.com, I am a keen angler and have recently moved to Manchester in the north of England from the New Forest in the south of the country.  I am a terrible angler and a terrible writer so I have decided to start a blog that has far too many words for far too few fish. Having previously contributed to another blog started by me old mucka Jack Greener – Whatascreamer – I have started my own blog. As myself and Jacky Greener now live about 300 miles apart I have decided to go it alone in this blog eat blog world. Hope you enjoy my blog even though the fish are tiny and the writing is piss poor. Cheers Jacky C xXx

  1. Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out my little corner of the blogosphere and the follow, your support is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing more from you 🙂

    Have a great day,

    Eddie

    • I think its great very spooky. I share the same sentiment. Any tips on my crappy photos would be great.

      Jack

      • Thanks Jack.
Your images are a damn site better than my fishing skills 🙂
I actually like your images, you could try playing around with editing software and adjust stuff like contrast, saturation etc. Gimp is a free editing software which you could download and try,

Let me know how you get on 🙂

  2. Hi there! Thank you for following my blog Travelling Namibia. Although we don’t have ponds, I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy fishing here at our dams and at the coast!

    • Thanks, it looks good so I gave it a cheeky follow, I quite fancy a little sea fishing trip to Namibia. Sounds slightly more exotic than pond fishing in Wales. Haha. Good luck on your travels!
